Disney is one of my favorite vacation spots to go on with my family. I love how magical it is for the whole family. My girls were 2 and 4 the first time we went and we have been lucky enough to go a few times over the years. One of my favorite things to do is eat when we go away. I think character dining is a great way for the kids to meet the princesses and get their autographs in. We always get such good pictures. Here are our top 5 Best Character Restaurant for your Princess when you go to Disney.

5. Chef Mickeys

Breakfast at Chef Mickeys seems to be a must for our family. You get a nice picture when you walk in, it’s nice to meet the 5 classics, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy and they have a huge buffet with all kinds of food. I think anything tastes better when it’s shaped like Mickey ears. Chef Mickeys is located in the Contemporary Resort and the Monorail runs right through it, so it’s neat to see. If you are at the Magic Kingdom you can hop right on the Monorail and take a short ride over. Very fun for everyone.

   4. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Located in Epcot, in the country Norway, is this cute little restaurant. When you walk in, you get a nice picture with Belle before you sit at your table. They bring you a tray of meats and cheeses, even for breakfast and they have a nice buffet, with all you can eat. The princess come around to your table. We saw Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel. They also take any kids up to talk around in a princess parade and they walk through the restaurant. It was very cute and my girls had fun.

3. Be Our Guest

We are lucky enough to have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Be Our Guest. Breakfast and Lunch are considered a quick service, even though reservations are highly recommended. Dinner was my favorite, because that is the only time you get to meet the Beast. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, starting from the walkway where you walk up all the way inside. If you go for breakfast and lunch, you order from a little computer and it is brought to your table. You are able to modify the meals, so if you don’t like certain sauces, they can make without and you get your drinks yourself. Dinner is another story, you are waited on with a waiter or waitress and the food was very good. Of course I had to try the Grey stuff and it was pretty delicious! Dinner here was my favorite out of all three.

2. 1900 Park Fare

1900 Park Fare is at the beautiful Grand Floridian. It’s a quick ride on the monorail from the Magic Kingdom and it is my favorite food wise. They have a huge buffet with so many options! This was one restaurant where I would go again and again and again. Here you get to meet Cinderealla, Prince Charming, the two step-sisters, who are so funny, and the Queen or the Fairy Godmother. The step-sisters alone are so funny. They kept giving my husband dirty looks, even when he was going back to the buffet to get more food. It was fun and neat to see some different characters you don’t always see in the park.

1. Cinderella’s Royal Table

My number one pick would be Cinderella’s Royal Table. I think every little princess should be able to dine in the castle at least once! We didn’t make it here this last trip, but we have already eaten here a few times. I didn’t think my girls would mind, but they were a little disappointed. You walk in and get a picture with Cinderella before they lead you upstairs to your table. The princesses come around as you eat. They sign books and take pictures and make your little princess feel like a real princess. I usually make an appointment with the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique the same day we eat at the castle, so my girls really feel like princesses.
